- Receiver not turning on
- Is Receiver plugged in to power?
- If it has power to it there should be a light on the front of the unit.
- Not plugged into an outlet that is on a light switch?
- Is the power bar that it’s plugged in turned on?
- Nothing on any of my TV
- Check to see if power inserter is plugged in?
- No picture
- Do you have signal?
- Using the remote, PRESS: Menu - 6 - 1 - 1
( this should take you to the signal strength screen )
- You should have signal strength around 75% or better
- Check different transponders each transponder will have different signal strengths
- Remote won’t turn TV / VCR on anymore
- Read before proceeding
- Turn TV and Satellite Receiver on
- Press and hold TV button until all lights on the top of the remote light up
- Then release the TV button the TV light should start flashing
- Now press bigger RED power Button the TV light should stay lit – if not start over
- Now press and release the UP Arrow button on the remote – repeat until
TV turns off
- If you do this to fast you may miss it
- Once the TV turns off press the # button at the bottom of the remote
- The remote should now turn on and off the TV test with turning up the volume
- If not start over
- Now to program the VCR/DVD follow same steps but press VCR button at the top
